Deep bedding gives hamsters room to build. It can also leave owners choosing between waiting and disturbing a burrow. This concept adds a covered viewing point and cleaning access while keeping darkness the default.

A closable external cover keeps the viewing window dark until a brief check is needed.
Access that locks
A removable top is planned for cleaning, with a positive lock so bedding cannot simply lift it.
